Brilliant 2209 T-1 AP is designed for all position welding of duplex stainless steels which contain approximately 22% chromium. The composition is balanced to achieve a microstructure of approximately 50% ferrite and 50% austenite in the weld deposit. The alloy exhibits a spray-like arc transfer, easy slag removal, and can be welded within a wide range of parameters. AWS classification A5.22 E2209T1-X.
