Welding Blankets - Heavy Duty HD750

The MD550 heat-treated fiberglass blanket is designed for medium sparks and spatter. Highly flexible, it performs best when used at an incline of at least 15°.

Choosing the Right Welding Blanket
When selecting the most suitable heat-resistant welding blanket, considerthe following factors:
  • Positioning: Sparks landing on a horizontally placed blanket create extra stress. Use a stronger, more heat-resistant option in these cases.
  • Work Application: Light-duty welding or cutting may only require a thinner blanket. For heavy-duty welding where molten metal droplets are present, a more durable blanket is recommended.
  • Flexibility: Lightweight blankets are easier to handle and ideal for wrapping pipes, hoses, and small components.
