FILARC KV3L

Application: All position basic coated electrode with max 0.05% C, for welding creep resisting steels alloyed with 2.25Cr/1Mo, such as 10 CrMo 9 10. The FILARC KV3L is also recommended for welding 0.5Cr/0.5Mo/0.025V steels. The chemical composition of the weld metal guarantees a low sensitivity to solidification cracking, as a result of Mn/Si control. A minimum preheat and interpass temperature of 165-190 °C, is recommended for all material thicknesses.

Welding Invented

When our founder Oscar Kjellberg developed the world's first coated welding electrode in 1904, he launched a company whose innovation and uncompromising standards have helped create the history of welding itself. This legacy continues in the quality, performance, and continuous development of the covered electrodes we make today.

Factory Fresh Low Alloy Electrodes, Straight from the Pack

ESAB's VacPac™ packaging is hermetically sealed and vacuum-packed to protect low alloy electrodes from moisture pick up and re-absorption from the air. Electrodes can be used straight from the package without the need to re-bake them or you can store them temporarily in holding ovens and quivers. Get fresh, dry low alloy covered electrodes every time with ESAB.
