Drill System 307
The Drill System 307 is a fully automated system for drilling, threading, and counter boring. When combined with plasma or oxy fuel cutting, the Drill System 307 can produce finished parts in a single operation, saving time and ramping up productivity. The optional 7-tool changer is linked to the drill station and independently moves into position for rapid tool changes without repositioning the spindle. This reduces tool change time, increasing productivity and accuracy. Both through-the-tool cooling and external coolant spray can be used with minimum quantity lubrication for a variety of tools. A laser sensor measures tool tip position and can detect a broken tool, while the Vision CNC’s built-in process database helps automate the entire drilling sequence.
