TPC 75 Compressed air flux feeder

TPC 75 Compressed air flux feeder

Increase your productivity by using our TPC 75 flux feeder and reduce the time for manual refill and unexpected lack of flux during welding. The TPC 75 flux feeder makes it possible to use submerged-arc welding in confined spaces with no room for the conventional flux hopper mounted on the welding head. For the internal welding, e.g. tubes, box grinders, small diameter cylinders, it often happens that there is insufficient space for a flux hopper. The flux must therefore be fed from a position external to the workpiece. The TPC 75 holds 75 liters of flux and by compressed air it can feed the flux within a height distance of max 14 m through a 40 m long 25.4 mm outlet hose.

TPC 75 consists of a pressure tank with a flux valve which closes when the flux feeder is under pressure. The compressed air is fed to the unit via a pressure filter regulator with an automatic moisture trap and a nipple for 10 mm compressed air hose. The compressed air shall be dry and free from oil. At the bottom of the tank is the flux feed connection for 25.4 mm (1 in.) outlet hose. In addition, the TPC 75 is fitted with a safety valve and a tap for decompression.
