ESAB Flame-Resistant Welding Blankets

The ESAB Welding Blankets range is manufactured from heat- and flame-resistant fabrics, providing reliable protection against welding sparks, grinding sparks, slag, and molten metal droplets.

Durable and versatile, these welding protection blankets are available in multiple sizes and specifications. Each blanket type can be identified by its color or fabric appearance and, except for the 25 m rolls, comes with reinforced eyelets for quick hanging and sewn edges for enhanced durability and service life. The 25 m rolls can be cut to customized size for optimization.

Choosing the Right Welding Blanket
When selecting the most suitable heat-resistant welding blanket, considerthe following factors:

• Positioning: Sparks landing on a horizontally placed blanket create extra stress. Use a stronger, more heat-resistant option in these cases.
• Work Application: Light-duty welding or cutting may only require a thinner blanket. For heavy-duty welding where molten metal droplets are present, a more durable blanket is recommended.
• Flexibility: Lightweight blankets are easier to handle and ideal for wrapping pipes, hoses, and small components.
