OK 73.15

OK 73.15 is a basic electrode with very good welding characteristics. Its exceptional weldability is ideal for multiple applications including Pipe. The electrode has a classification of AWS 8018-C3 H4R and gives a weld metal alloyed with about 0.9% Ni. It fulfils impact requirements down to - 50 °C. The low moisture absorption coating gives less than 4 ml diffusible hydrogen / 100 g welded metal. Weld metal recovery is above 120 % for the main diameters. OK 73.15 is HIC test compliant as per NACE TM0284 & SSC test compliant as per NACE TM0177.

Welding Invented

When our founder Oscar Kjellberg developed the world's first coated welding electrode in 1904, he launched a company whose innovation and uncompromising standards have helped create the history of welding itself. This legacy continues in the quality, performance, and continuous development of the covered electrodes we make today.

Factory Fresh Low Alloy Electrodes, Straight from the Pack

ESAB's VacPac™ packaging is hermetically sealed and vacuum-packed to protect low alloy electrodes from moisture pick up and re-absorption from the air. Electrodes can be used straight from the package without the need to re-bake them or you can store them temporarily in holding ovens and quivers. Get fresh, dry low alloy covered electrodes every time with ESAB.
