ESAB features live demos, automation and digital solutions at Fabtech Mexico 2024

North Bethesda, Md. – ESAB Corporation, a global leader in welding and cutting, will offer hands-on and static demonstrations of its equipment, welding filler metals and digital solutions at Fabtech 2024 in Booth 2304 from 7-9 May at Cintermex in Monterrey, Mexico. ESAB’s focus is on providing efficiencies and increasing productivity for its customers in every industry segment, including small fabricators, independent contractors and large manufacturers where lack of skilled welders is always a challenge.

ESAB’s theme, Make Possible with ESAB, is inspired by ESAB’s dedication to making the dreams of its customers a reality. Live demonstrations and products on display in the booth include:

Robotic and Automation Systems:

• New ESAB Cobot with UR10e (Universal Robots) robot arm proves it takes just seconds to teach a welding path using a software app that runs on a standard smart phone or tablet. Now available in a 5- x 10-ft table with UR20e (Universal Robots) robot arm that provides more reach and more capacity for larger parts. ESAB will also be providing programming demonstrations.
• Versotrac EWT 1000/LAF 1001 the most flexible and versatile tractor in the market with a modularized build so that it can be disassembled into smaller parts to be carried separately, easily transported, and reassembled in hard-to-reach areas.
• A6 Mastertrac submerged arc tractor system with ICE (Integrated Cold Electrode) paired with an Aristo^® 1000 AC/DC power source. The ICE system provides up to a 50% higher deposition rate by utilizing the excess heat available to melt more wire, instead of adding more energy, boosting productivity by up to 50%.

Cutting Systems:

• New Swift-Cut XP delivers high-speed precision cutting at a low cost. Combined with user-friendly software, Swift-Cut provides a solution for affordable in-house metal cutting up to 25 mm (1 in.).

Digital Software Systems:

• InduSuite, including WeldCloud Productivity, WeldCloud Notes, WeldCloud Fleet, CutCloud, Octopuz, Columbus, and EasyNest Online, provides a universal collection of welding and cutting software applications that connect data, machinery, and process to optimize performance and productivity in any industry with any brand of welding/cutting equipment.
• New WeldCloud Assembly merges weld procedure and traceability from WeldCloud Notes and weld session data from WeldCloud Productivity. WeldCloud Assembly allows work to be done in the field with smartphones and tablets, which gives immediate feedback to those responsible for quality assurance, project owners, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Weld Scanner Validator calibrates all brands of welding equipment in accordance with the Standard IEC 60974-14 -Validation of Arc Welding Equipment. It ensures precise measurement for welding voltage, welding current, wire feed speed and optional gas flow rate and travel speed.

Light Fabrication and Heavy Industrial Welding Systems:

• New battery-powered Renegade™ VOLT™ ES 200i Stick/TIG welding system that is powered by DEWALT® FLEXVOLT® batteries. Renegade VOLT offers a maximum welding output of 150A on battery power. It also connects to 115/230V AC primary power and provides a maximum welding output of 210A on 230V primary power.
• Warrior^® Edge 500 CX multi-process pulsing power source and RobustFeed Edge CX wire feeder offers premium welding results without complexity. Synergic control, quick job buttons, RFID operator management and TrueFlow digital gas control technology enable fast and consistent results. Warrior Edge also has built-in connectivity and comes with a subscription to the InduSuite WeldCloud Fleet online software application.
