ESAB SquareCut Technology brings powerful new advantages to customers cutting mild steel with plasma. When equipped with the DMX Plasma Beveler and the iSeries Precision Plasma system, an ESAB cutting machine can cut faster than any competitive system or deliver the highest possible cut edge quality. ESAB new SmartBevel Technology provides faster and easier plasma bevel programming and accurate bevel cutting with minimal operator intervention. SmartBevel includes beveling data and geometric compensations necessary to cut V, X, Y, and K bevels on mild steel from 6- to 50-mm thick. Unlike competitive systems, SmartBevel integrates all bevel compensations into the CNC to simplify bevel programming and enable operators to quickly and easily fine tune the program at the machine for enhanced productivity and reduced programming time.
